DuPont and the EPA have reached an agreement to settle allegations that the chemical company allegedly hid information about the dangers of toxic chemical C-8.

Attorneys for DuPont and the US Environmental Protection Agency told an administration law judge that they had reached a final agreement, but the paperwork is yet to be done.

The terms of the final agreement will be released on January 13.

The company has been charged with hiding information regarding the harmful effects of the chemical to some of their workers and reportedly problems related to the dumping of the chemical which infiltrated the area's water supply.
