RED DEVIL FOOTBALL TEAM HAS MUCH TO CELEBRATE - Awards Event Sunday

(12/10/2005)
The Calhoun County High School Red Devil's football team enjoyed an outstanding 2005 season, sporting an 8-2 season record and making the second-ever playoff appearance by a Red Devil squad.

The team has much to celebrate and remember, with fan support described as "tremendous."

The honors are piling up for team members, and several of them will be recognized at the awards ceremony. (See LKC team recognition this date)

The team and coaches would like to invite all Red Devil fans to join them tomorrow (Dec. 11) when the team holds their annual awards program in the Commons Area of CM-HS beginning at 5 p.m.

A dessert buffet will kick-off the evening with each family asked to provide a dessert and 2-liter beverage. Table service and coffee will be provided.

The awards program will be held in the school auditorium and the evening will conclude with the viewing of the 2005 season highlight video.

Coach Bryan Sterns said he is hopeful the community will come out and enjoy the evening.
