MEDA ISABELLE SAMPSON - Shock

Meda Isabelle Sampson, 92, of Shock, Gilmer County, died Sunday, June 24th at home following a long illness.

Born at Chapel, Braxton County, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Elizabeth Rider Brady. She was a homemaker and a Methodist.

Surviving are two daughters, Melissa Zornes of Clearwater, Florida and Kelly Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio, and her sister, Jessie Collins of Sutton, WV.

Foster children are, Leroy Fitch of Georgia, Arthur Fitch of Charleston, WV, Betty Cottrell of Morgantown, WV, Ronnie Lott of Florida, Dale Lott of North Carolina, Thelma Robinson and Charles Wagoner both of Missouri and Bucky Groves of Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Sampson.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Rosedale United Methodist Church at Rosedale, WV. Reverend Dewey Tanner will officiate. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery. Friends may call at the Community Church at Shock from 6-9 p.m. Thursday. Stump Funeral Home of Arnoldsburg is in charge of arrangements.
