Montalee Marie Berkhouse, 85, of Hawesville, Kentucky, died Saturday, November 19, 2005, in the Bishop Soenneker Home, Knottsville. She was born January 29, 1920, in Spencer, the daughter of the late Russell and Ethel Dalrymple Grady. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald C. Berkhouse, Sr., January 3, 1982. Mrs. Berkhouse was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include one son, Donald C. Berkhouse, Jr. of Looneyville; one daughter, Brenda Ables of Hawesville, KY; seven grandchildren, Brian, Mark and Greg Berkhouse, David and Kenny Ables, Bev and Tim Cook; ten great grandchildren, Lindsay, Leah, Cory and Carli Berkhouse, Joanna Pearson, Tyler Ables, Jason Johnson, Breanna, Cody, and Logan Cox. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, November 22 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ward Cemetery, Spencer, with the Rev. Michael F. "Mike" King officiating. There will be no visitation. John H.
