A large number of shoppers turned out last night at Grantsville's Dollar General Store, aka the Grantsville Mall, for their 25% off Customer Appreciation Sale.
At 8 p.m., most evenings, it is unusual to see more than a few stray dogs and cats on Grantsville's Main Street.
There was lots of cars and shoppers last night with carts filled to the brim.
It was a reminder of years gone by when area residents actually went to town on Friday night to shop.
Some customers had to wait for almost an hour to check-out, with long lines reaching back through the store.
"It's been a great night for shoppers," said manager Doris Ferrell, "We appreciate them all."
