The spaghetti dinner and auction held on Saturday, November 12 for Kacy's Toy Chest was quite a success.

The committee for Kacy's Toy Chest would like to thank Grantsville First Baptist Church, Mt. Zion Methodist Church, Knotts Memorial Church, Brooksville Methodist Church and Pleasant Hill Methodist Church for preparing and donating all the food and beverages. Thank you ladies from Grantsville First Baptist Church for also serving the food.

Thank you so much to everyone who attended the event, donated money or items for the toy chest or auction. May God Bless each and every one of you.

Thanks to Auctioneer Donald and Patty Little for all your help. We could not have done it without you.

Thank you Grantsville Fire Department for the use of your building, and to everyone that helped in any way.

These children have such a challenge with this life threatening illness and thanks to your generosity, you have helped to make this holiday season a littler brighter for many, many children.

The committee will be traveling to WVU Hospital in Morgantown on December 6, to present the clinic with the toys that were donated by you and purchased with the donations that you gave.

'Kacy's Toy Chest' is located at the WVU Children's Hospital in Morgantown, WV, in memory of Kacy Harris, who lost her battle with cystic fibrosis on September 14, 2004.

WVU Children's Hospital has asked the 'Kacy's Toy Chest' committee to bring a toy to every child that is in the hospital at Christmas time.
