SERVICES HELD FOR WALTON WOMAN KILLED AT AMMA

A memorial service was held Sunday at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home in Spencer for a Walton, Roane County, woman who was killed in an auto accident at Amma last Thursday. Katherine Pearl "Crickett" Sloan, 31, died from injuries she received when the car she was driving struck a utility pole near O'Dell's Exxon Station near I-79. Survivors include two sons, Cruz Smith and Harlan Osborne both of the home; one daughter, Kaitlin Sloan of the home; her mother and stepfather, Alice and Dale Burdette of Mantua, Ohio; father and stepmother, James and Barbara Lambert of Cleveland, Ohio; six brothers, D.J., Cheyenne, Jay, Mac, Josh and Gary Burdette; one sister, Britney Burdette; two half brothers, David Gertz and Lewis Lambert; one half sister, Jennifer Gertz.
