HWVAC CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYED AT HUR - What A Game It Was

The HWVAC (Hur West Virginia Athletic Conference) was held in downtown Hur, Saturday, and what a game it was.

Old timer, "The Tapster" Kerby played his heart out. Pitted against his grandson, Quentin "Sacked the Quarterback" Kerby (pictured left).

The older Kerby opted for truckers attire instead of football gear, wearing a baseball cap and cowboy boots. Someone (probably Quentin) told him the ergo-dynamic design of the pointed toe was great for punting.

No one knows who really won, as the scorekeepers, went inside for cookies and milk, several times, during the game.

In after game interviews, young Quentin said, "Good game Gramps," while "The Tapster," was over-heard asking, "Wonder if Phyllis has any aspirin and muscle rub at the house?"
