Loretta M. Bradley, 93 - Spencer

Loretta M. Bradley, 93, of Spencer, died Friday, November 4, 2005, in the Roane General Hospital, Spencer.

She was born February 25, 1912, at Looneyville, a daughter of the late Gay and Melissa Samples Kelly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Faud L. Bradley; a grandson, David Bradley; two sisters, Sybil Ray and Mary Boggess; two brothers, Paul Kelly and Ralph Kelly; one half brother, Frank Snodgrass.

Mrs. Bradley was a retired employee of the Spencer Hospital and a member of the Epling Chapel Baptist Church, Looneyville. She was a member of the Roane General Hospital Auxiliary and the Novelty Club of Spencer. She was a life long resident of Roane County.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jackie and Ella Bradley of Spencer and Jimmy and Ruth Bradley also of Spencer; two sisters, Bess Kessler of Charleston and Polly Cross of Bushnell, FL; two brothers, John Smith Kelly, Sr. of Looneyville and Robey J. Kelly of South Charleston; six grandchildren, Margaret Crow of Marietta, GA, Janet Parsons of Gay, Melissa Hamlett of Tucker, GA, Wayne Bradley of Spencer, Greg Bradley of Mink Shoals and Myron Todd Bradley of Auburn, GA; seven great grandchildren.

The family would like to give special thanks to caregivers Linda, Karen, Crystal, Samantha, and Lu.

A funeral service will be conducted Monday, November 7 at 11:00 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Michael F. "Mike" King and the Rev. J. Herbert Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
