FIFTEEN YEARS AGO: GRUESOME, GHOSTLY AND JUST PLAIN SILLY - Grantsville Seniors Celebrate Halloween

2005 - Friday was Halloween dress-up day at the Calhoun County Committee on Aging's Senior Center in Grantsville. The day was filled with fun and laughter as costumes worn by "kids at heart" were judged in several categories. The Center also celebrated October birthdays, and drew the winner of the "Tilted 9 Patch" quilt, raffled by the CCCOA and Grantsville Lions Club. (Back) Carroll McCauley, Chink Roberts, Hazel Somerville, Adrian Ball and Ruth Lancaster Winner of the "Tilted 9 Patch" quilt was Rose Wilt Total profit collected was $486, split between the two organizations The Queen Size quilt top was hand pieced by Carolyn Deweese and hand quilted by the CCCOA Seniors
