GROWLING TIGER CHILI COOK-OFF

The 2005 Growling Tiger Chili Cook-Off will be held November 10th from 4-6 p.m. at the Wirt County Primary Center cafeteria. Judging begins at 5 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, with 1st place winning a trophy and $50 savings bond. Second and 3rd place trophies will also be awarded as well as best costume, and best named chili awards. Registration is free, admission is only $3 per person, which includes your choice of chili, cornbread or peanut butter sandwich, dessert and drink. You do not have to enter the contest to come and enjoy the dinner, everyone is welcome.
