Roger Dale Crites, 37, of Spencer, WV, died June 21, 2001 at his home following a long illness. Born in Roane County, he was a son of the late Robert J. and Joan Harper Crites Norman. He was a Baptist. Surviving are his stepfather, larry Norman of Spencer; five sisters, Belinda Sue Fisher of Indiantown, Florida, Debbie Crites of Charleston, WV, Karen Nichols of Mineral Wells, WV, Diana (Dee Dee) Ash and Roberta (Kay) Crites both of Spencer; three brothers, Robert Crites of Richwood, WV, Glenn (Buckwheat) Crites and Donald (Bucky) Crites both of Spencer; thirteen nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews. There will be no service or visitation. Private interment will be in the Evantide Cemetery, Spencer. Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, WV ia in charge of arrangements.
