Watch out!

Rutting time is here and the deer are out in full-force, including jumping across highways.

It is prime time for auto accidents, now through November.

Bucks are obsessed to mate and fawns are also more independent.

Early evening when it is getting dark is the time when deer are the least visible to drivers, just before headlights are effective.

In 2002, the WV Insurance Commission paid out $48 million in deer accident claims.
