LONG-TIME ELIZABETH MAYOR RESIGNS

The long-time mayor of Elizabeth, Lewis (Lew) Full, has resigned. He has been the mayor of the Wirt County seat for 20 years or more. Full has said he wanted to see a recent water project be on the map, and now that has happened, friends say he wants to spend time on his farm. The new mayor is Ken Stempowski, a former council member.
