Donald Lee Starcher, 53, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away suddenly October 13, 2005 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center, Grantsville. He was born October 4, 1952 at Hur, WV. Surviving Donald are his mother, Goldie Greathouse of Grantsville; brothers, Roger Starcher and his wife Barbara of Copperas Cove, Texas, Richard Starcher and his wife Teresa of Creston, Arnold Greathouse of Grantsville, Ronald Greathouse and his wife Cindy of Grantsville; sisters, Linda Carpenter and her husband Danny of Mt. Zion, Debbie Sampson of Davis, WV, and Judy Hall and her husband Danny of Grantsville. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Robert Starcher of Austin, Texas, Matt, Lisa and Tyler Sargent of Killeen, Texas, Keith Carpenter of Mt. Zion, Jeff, Kristy, Mikayla and Kaitlyn Toney, Chad and Jessica Ferguson, Alicia and Brittany Greathouse, all of Grantsville, Jason, Renee and Madison Perkins and Stacy Sampson of Chloe. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Lewis Greathouse and his nephew, Joshua Hall. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 18 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Delmas Stutler officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
