BAR BRAWL INJURES MEN - Charleston police are still sorting out a bloody bar fight in Kanawha City that sent four people to the hospital yesterday.

At least one had stab wounds, another with his ear nearly torn off.

The 2:30 a.m. fight broke out at Nancy's Lounge and spilled out into the parking lot.

Police and paramedics found four men on the ground with injuries. Robert Brian Billo, 24, of Belle suffered four or five stab wounds in his back.

Three Lincoln County men were beaten up, likely with billiards cues.

Police said it appears that the melee started when a fight broke out between two or three women at the bar.

HUNTER SHOT BY WIFE - A Hancock County man has died after being shot by his wife while he was squirrel hunting.

The Division of Natural Resources said that 37-year-old Frank Orenzuk of Newell suffered a shotgun wound to the abdomen in the Dukes Hollow area of Hancock County.

His wife, 24-year-old Katrina Orenzuk, fired the shot. Charges have yet to be filed.

DODDRIDGE WOMAN FACING 10 YEARS - A Doddridge County woman faces 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to the second-degree murder of her aunt.

Thirty-year-old Christina Demastus of Lower Arnold's Creek admitted to the January stabbing death of 69-year-old Ella Demastus.

She was originally charged with first-degree murder.

She agreed to plead guilty to the lesser charge as part of a plea deal, giving her a 10-year prison sentence.
