WIRT MAN ROBBED OF MONEY AND GUNS

(09/01/2005)
Police agencies around West Virginia are looking for a young man and a juvenile female who allegedly robbed a Wirt County man of guns and money yesterday.

The male and his juvenile female accomplice assaulted and tied up 82-year-old Cleo Reynolds in his small trailer in the Spring Valley Estates yesterday afternoon.

Sources said Reynolds is clinging to life at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Law enforcement agencies were looking for Johnny Lee Patterson, 19, formerly of Point Pleasant, and a girl.

Patterson is believed to be driving a white 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass with West Virginia registration 8HU 468. The vehicle has tape on the driver's side taillight and has a skull-shaped hood ornament.

Authorities said Patterson stole guns, thousands of dollars, and left the elderly man face down on the ground, bound at the wrists with cuts to his face and neck.
