The rescue of Kay Izzi on White Oak (Oka) Road in Chloe yesterday was a team effort, after her car was washed from the highway by swift flood waters. The Izzi family would like to thank everyone involved in her rescue, including Brian Maack, Roger Bailey, Eddie Manns, Jeff Jarvis, Steve Sears, and the numerous volunteer firefighters.

They would also like to thank Frank Conley and Eddie Manns for waiting for the waters to recede to rescue the Izzi's dog, which was still trapped in the car.

Both Mrs. Izzi and the dog are at home safe now.
