FLOOD UPDATE 9 PM - Stinson Grocery Suffers Flood Damage

9 PM - Reports indicate homes and businesses have been flooded from Big Otter, Nebo, Walker, Walnut, Stinson, Chloe and the Nicut areas of Calhoun County. Water from tributaries have swollen the West Fork of the Little Kanawha River starting earlier this evening. Water was several feet deep in the Upper West Fork Community Building and is in the Upper West Fork Fire Station. A car and truck were reported to be in flood water in the area of the Chloe Post Office at 9 p.m. Stinson Grocery on Rt. 16 is reported to be heavily damaged by flood water, as well as other nearby dwellings.
