HUNTINGTON WOMAN MURDERED - Police say a Huntington woman is dead from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Police found the body of 36-year-old Victoria West on the front porch of a city residence.

Police say a man living at the home, 55-year-old Levon Flournoy, has been arrested and charged with murder.

He was being held at the Western Regional Jail.

PARKERSBURG MAN SHOT WITH PISTOL - An early morning shooting Saturday in Parkersburg has police looking for clues with the community on edge.

Parkersburg police officers have confirmed that 22-year-old Jason Anderson is the victim.

Police say Anderson was shot several times with a handgun and was transported to Saint Joseph's Hospital.

Neighbors who say they heard yelling and then gun shots a little after six Saturday morning.

The aunt of Anderson says, "My nieces, my nephews, they're all growing up in this. My great-niece, her dad was just shot last night and it just gets more violent every year."

Parkersburg Police Detective Greg Collins says a motive is not known, but three men are being held in custody.
