David Paul Roberts, 53 - Parkersburg

David Paul Roberts, 53, of Parkersburg, West Virginia passed away Thursday, August 18, 2005 at his home.

He was born in Grantsville, WV in 1952.

He is the son of Wilma Roberts Brannon and Rickey Brannon of Parkersburg. His father Gerald Edward Roberts preceded him in death in 1962. He is survived by his wife, Debbi, daughter, Tracey Dawn Roberts and son, Travis Dean Roberts all of Parkersburg; 3 brothers and their wives, Michael Lowell and Suzi Roberts of Phoenix, AZ, Kenneth Edward and Kathy Roberts of Pooler, GA, Rickey and Gail Brannon, Jr. of Westminster, MA; sister, Reta Kay Roberts of Fernandina Beach, FL; several nieces and nephews.

He was a retired electrician from PSEG-Waterford. He also worked for several years at Pleasants Power Station as an electrician and supervisor. Mr. Roberts served in the US Navy from 1974-1977.

He was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church of Stumptown, WV. David was admired and loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 23 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Harry Sears will officiate. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in David's name, to the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High Street, PO Box 163549, Columbus, Ohio, 43216-3549.
