 Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center would like to welcome our newest staff member, Erin Hawkins, RN, MSN, C-FNP. Ms. Hawkins received her Bachelors degree from West Virginia Weselyn College and a Masters in Nursing from Mashall University. She is currently a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Ms. Hawkins has over nine years experience in nursing. She spent several years as a traveling nurse, working in cities across the United States. She returned to West Virginia and worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington while receiving her certification.
Ms. Hawkins says she is looking forward to working in Calhoun and Gilmer counties. She believes in strong family values and feels at home in a rural environment. Ms. Hawkins is from Weston and has been married to Jason for four years. She is the new mom to three-month old Gavin. She will be working primarily in Gilmer County, splitting her time between Gilmer Primary Care and the Gilmer School Based Health Center.
