VIDEO TAPE OF RICHARDS COOKING METH REPORTED

The Associated Press has reported there is a video tape of Grantsville resident John M. Richards demonstrating an actual meth cook. Authorities arrested 40-year-old Richards at his south Grantsville residence Tuesday. See Hur Herald story 8/4/05. State Police say they searched his Grantsville home and discovered several precursors used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. He is charged with attempting to operate a clandestine meth lab among other charges, including one related to a minor child being present around a meth operation. Richards is currently in Central Regional Jail on $60,000 bond.
