Donna P. Buie - Boston, Georgia formerly of Big Bend

Donna P. Buie of Boston, Georgia, formerly of Big Bend, West Virginia, died July 27 at Archbold Memorial Hospital.

Born February 4, 1930 in Calhoun County, she was the daughter of the late John Seldon and Fannie Goodnight Parsons. She was married to William R. Buie who preceded her in death. She worked for Teny's Drug Store in 1948 and for Southern Bell in Jacksonville, Florida for 10 years. She and her husband owned Buie's Service and Grocery Store in Big Bend, WV. She was a member of the E.U.B. Methodist Church of Big Bend.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jo Ann and Dale Davison of Boston; grandchildren, Bradley Hand of Thomasville, Christopher Wolfe of Augusta, GA, Ben and Elisha Richardson of Millport, AL; great grandchildren, Abigail, Mary Esther and Hannah Richardson; brothers, Denzil Parsons of Whigham, GA, Lonnie Parsons of Hazelton, PA; sisters, Bonnie Adams of Alexandria, VA, Maxine Bell of Lake Blackbear, GA, Eva Swisher of Washington, WV.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Donald, Charles and James Parsons, Joan Burwell and Louise Parsons.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 2nd at 11 a.m. at the Goodnight Cemetery at Big Bend.

Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville is in charge of arrangements.
