A Calhoun drug bust has allegedly been made related to marijuana plants.

Authorities obtained a search warrant for property in the Sam's Run area of Calhoun and Roane County on Tuesday, reportedly looking for marijuana plants.

Sam's Run is located between Beech Road and crosses into Roane County, the Linden area.

Sources said about 100 plants were discovered and harvested, but State Police have not responded to public information requests.

Officers went to the remote area near the Calhoun-Roane line, reportedly using a search warrant issued in Grantsville.

Arrests regarding the incident have not been reported.
