Robert Lee Barnett, 66 - Sand Ridge

Robert Lee Barnett, 66 of Sand Ridge, West Virginia, passed away July 22, 2005 at his home following a long illness. Born in Gilmer County, he was a son of the late Ray and Dicie Carpenter Barnett. He was a former trucker, mechanic and farmer. Surviving are his wife, Betty Curry Barnett and 2 daughters, Hope Lee Barnett of Sand Ridge and Eileen Stratton of Newport, Arkansas; one brother, Ronald Barnett of Akron, Ohio; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 27 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. John Vannoy will officiate. Interment will will be in the Cedarville Cemetery at Cedarville. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
