Janice Forshey Lowther, 66, of Waverly died July 15, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late David and Corene Jarvis Hicks. Surviving are three sons, Robert Forshey and his wife, Pam, of Waverly, Douglas Forshey and his wife, Beth, of Parkersburg and Donald Forshey of Waverly; two daughters, Deb Waggoner and her husband, Russell, of Waverly and Donna Snyder and her husband, Duke, of Coolville; a brother, Dallas Jarvis of Akron, Ohio; four sisters, Dorothy Duncan and Glennis Blevins of Akron, Gladys Forshey of Waverly and Ann Davis of Parkersburg; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Forshey; second husband, Robert Lowther; and two brothers, Eugene and Charles Hicks. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Brian Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Willow Island Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
