Elah L. Gibson, 93, of Ravenna, Ohio formerly of Calhoun County, West Virginia, passed away June 22, 2005 at Woodlands of Ravenna. Born at Joker, Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Husk Kerby. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie (Gerald) Facemire of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; 4 sons, Harold (Gwen) Gibson of Bristolville, Ohio, Verl Duane (Shirley) Gibson of Warren, Ohio, Gerald Gibson of Newton Falls, Ohio and Larry (Cindy) Gibson of Ravenna; 2 sisters, Lucille Basnett of Big Bend, WV and Helena Bennett of Elyria, Ohio; 23 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Gibson; daughter, Patricia Nevin; 1 sister, 5 brothers, and grandson, Mark. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 28 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. rev. Gene Kerby will officiate. Interment will be in the Bryner Chapel Cemetery at Joker.
