CAR ROLLS OVER AFTER STRIKING HILLSIDE - Grantsville Firemen Answer Car Fire

(06/25/2005)
A Wirt County woman was injured just after midnight today when her late-model Ford went out of control on Route 5, west of Grantsville at Cabot Station.

The auto left the highway, went up against a hillside and then rolled-over on its top.

Calhoun EMS took the woman to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center for evaluation and treatment.

The Grantsville VFD responded to the accident.

Chief Deputy Ron Bandy was investigating.

The Grantsville VFD answered a call to Big Bend Thursday evening to the Keener residence on Hill Rd., where a car near a residence caught on fire.

Firemen quickly put out the blaze, with heavy damage to the vehicle.
