Orpha D. Stout Stonestreet, 88, of Spencer

Orpha D. Stout Stonestreet, 88, of Spencer, died Thursday, June 16, 2005, in the Roane General Hospital, Spencer, after an extended illness.

She was born February 24, 1917, in Braxton County, a daughter of the late Houston and Myrtle Boyce Rollyson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Stout; two sisters, Opal Skidmore and Elva Skidmore; four brothers, Jack, Ernie, Austin and Glen Rollyson.

Orpha was a retired employee of the Safety Harbor Spa, Safety Harbor, FL.

Survivors include her husband, Bernard H. Stonestreet of Spencer; three sons, James Stout of New Port Richey, FL, Jay and Dale Stout both of Safety Harbor, FL; two stepsons, Leon Stonestreet of Melbourne, FL and Larry Stonestreet of Spencer; one stepdaughter, Linda Jernigan of Spencer; one sister, Elsie Bode of Harrisville; four grandchildren and five step grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted Monday, June 20 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Randall L. "Randy" Whited officiating. Burial will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery, Gassaway.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
