PIZZA HUT WILL CONTINUE TO HONOR DISCOUNT CARDS

Irona Yeager, president of Calhoun Middle School Boosters has announced that Pizza Hut of Spencer, Glenville and Gassaway will continue to honor fund raising-discount cards. The cards were sold by Boosters as a fundraiser to benefit CMS sports programs. "When Middle School Boosters sold the cards they were to be good through October 31, 2005," said Yeager. Yeager said the owner of the three stores had posted notices at each business that the cards would not be honored after July 1, 2005. "But I had a talk with him ... and they are honoring them through October 31, 2005, like they are supposed to," she said. Yeager says she hopes those who bought the cards have not discarded them as a result of the notices.
