UPDATE 1 A.M. TUESDAY - Calhoun EMS and the Upper West Fork Volunteer
Fire Department responded to a car wreck at 1 a.m. Tuesday on Route 16
about one-quarter mile from the Clay-Calhoun County line.
The electric line was reported down.
Reports said the vehicle struck a downed tree in a sharp turn, coming to rest
in a small stream. Two occupants were out of the car, with no report on the
nature of their injuries. |
