AREA RESIDENT TO COMPETE FOR MISS TEEN WEST VIRGINIA

Casey Westfall of Grantsville will compete for the title of Miss Teen West Virginia on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at the WVU Creative Arts Center in Morgantown.

Casey is the daughter of Chip and Janice Westfall and is a student at Calhoun County High School.

Her activities include Prom Committee, Student Council, Feature Twirler for high school band, Graduation Usher, Exercise and Weight Training, Church Youth Group Leader, Young Liberals Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Acolyte and Usher at Church, Volunteer at Elementary Schools.

The Miss Teen West Virginia Pageant is associated with the Miss America Scholarship Organization. The current Miss Teen West Virginia is Jessica Schueler of Hinton. She has traveled the state speaking to teens about peer pressure and supporting the SADD Organization (Student Against Destructive Decisions).

The young woman chosen as Miss Teen West Virginia 2005 will win a substantial prize package including Agency Representation with Patrick Talent Agency, $1000 Savings Bond, a Professional Photo Shoot, Luggage, and more. She will advance to the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageant in Orlando, Florida where she will compete for over $150,000 in scholarships. Each contestant in the pageant will receive makeup from the Models Prefer Ltd. Make up collection, Bath Products from Philosophy, and a Supermodels Unlimited Magazine.
