Jeffery Ray Neal, 24 (pictured left), has been charged with malicious assault, destruction of property and burglary, following what police described as a domestic dispute.

State Police Cpl. Doug Starcher said Neal attacked his wife Shannon Neal with a shovel, causing injury.

He then got into his vehicle, ramming the wall of the Deborah Melrath residence near Mud Fork, destroying it. Property damage was estimated at $2,500.
