CAR AND TANKER SWIPE AT CABOT STATION - No Injuries Reported

A two-vehicle swipe caused minor damage at 11 a.m. Friday on Route 5 at Cabot Station, west of Grantsville. A car driven by Shirley Gibson of Lemuels Run was entering Route 5, when it collided with an oil tanker which was traveling west. Sources at the scene said Ms. Gibson had stopped at a yard sale. There were no injuries.

Sheriff Allen Parsons, the West Virginia State Police, Calhoun EMS and the Grantsville VFD responded.
