Brooks L. Cooper, 80 - Chloe

Brooks L. Cooper, 80, of Chloe, died May 13, 2005.

He was born at Nebo, son of the late Lambert and Rebecca Cooper.

He was the former owner of Cooper's Hardware at Chloe, and in recent years he operated a tack shop. He was a member of the Linden Masonic Lodge and attended the Mud Fork Union Church, recently accepting the Lord into his life.

Surviving, son, Bob Cooper of Chloe; a daughter, Vicky Haid of Charleston; granddaughters, Lisa and Millie; two great-granddaughters, Reagan and Sarah; brother, Harry Cooper of Norton, Ohio; sisters, Bina Hicks of Akron, Elva Browning of Charleston, Elva Vaughan of St. Alabans and Marlene Potasnik of Nebo.

He was preceeded in death by his parents and his wife, Genevieve Arnold Cooper; an infant son, a brother, six sisters and an infant granddaughter.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 16, 2005, at 11:30 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg. Rev. John Meadows will officiate. Burial in the Cooper-Mollohan Cemetery at Nebo.
