TWO DEAD IN CLAY SHOOTING

State Police in Clay County are investigating an apparent murder-suicide at Bickmore. Twenty-six-year-old Tracy Burford reportedly shot and killed 25-year-old Tara Taylor. Burford is said to have used an automatic pistol then turned the gun on himself. A State Police press release says both were shot in the head. The gun was found at Burford's feet. The shooting occurred shortly before 11 p.m. last night in the living room of Burford's residence. The relationship between Burford and Taylor was not immediately clear.
