| Betty Ruth Board Walker, 72, of Grantsville, formerly of Cremo, died May 30,
2001 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center in Grantsville after a long battle
with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Rome A. and Grace Cross
Board. She attended the Victory Baptist Church and Pleasant Hill UM Church.
Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Johnny Jones of
Grantsville; brothers, Bruce and Walter Board of Elyria, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Charles, Junior, Victor and Denver
Board; three sisters, Valley Stutler, Fleetice Starcher and Bonnie Mollohan.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Stump Funeral
Home in Grantsville with the Rev. Mike Worf and Rev. D. L. Kirby officiating.
Burial in Wright Cemetery at Cremo. Visitation Friday 6-8 p.m.
