ROBERTS LISTED IN SERIOUS CONDITION

(04/29/2005)
A 14-year-old Calhoun youth is listed in serious condition by Charleston Area Medical Center.

Jonathan Roberts (pictured left) is the son of Keith and Cheryl Roberts of Sycamore. He was airlifted to Charleston Thursday evening following a truck accident on Sycamore Rd. in which 15-year-old Randy Brannon was killed.

A family spokesperson said Roberts is suffering from blunt trauma to the spleen and liver, neck fractures, a broken hip and a brain concussion.

The truck went out of control on rural Sycamore Road, striking a tree.

Family members, including his grandparents Gary and Sue Roberts of Millstone, have been at his bedside.

Both Roberts and Brannon are students at Calhoun-Middle High School.
