Viola P. Poling, 95, Paden City

Viola P. Poling, 95, of Paden City, W.Va., died April 19, 2005, at Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, W.Va. She was born May 27, 1909, in Stumptown, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ananias John and Abilena Jane Frame May. She was a homemaker and member of the Sistersville Senior Citizens. She is survived by a daughter, Ida Mae Wright of Paden City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Poling in 1980; a daughter, Patty Swartzmiller in 1994; two brothers; and six sisters. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, with the Rev. Adrian Cowgill officiating. Burial will be in the Friendly Cemetery, Friendly, W.Va. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
