Bonnidene Starkey Crawford, 85, Lost Creek, formerly of Calhoun

Bonnidene Emma Crawford, 85, of Lost Creek, W.Va., died April 18, 2005, at the United Hospital in Clarksburg, W.Va.

She was born in Calhoun County, W.Va., the daughter of the late Benjamin Fredrick and Mary Morgan Starkey. She was a member of the Parkview United Methodist Church and was a member of the Junior Order of American Mechanics Ladies Auxiliary. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her sons, David Stephen Crawford and his wife, Candy, of Elkins, W.Va., and Larry Veon Crawford and his wife, Ann, of Lost Creek; her sister, Egra Starkey of Lost Creek; her grandchildren, Stephanie Haynes and her husband, Voras, of Elkins, Larry Veon Crawford II of Lexington, Ky., and Rachel Wilkinson and her husband, Brian, of Parkersburg; and her great-grandchildren, Nicholas Haynes and Aiden, Jacob and Gracie Ann Wilkinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Veon Crawford; three brothers, Tillman, Leon and Chester Starkey; and four sisters, Lillie Poling, Gladys Morrison, Martha Yoak and Juanita Walker.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with the Rev. Jeff Winters officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
