Ollie O. Ford, 95 - Grantsville

Ollie O. Ford, 95, of Grantsville, West Virginia went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2005.

She was born March 23, 1910 in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Okey and Annie Shimer. She was a member of Knotts United Methodist Church in Grantsville.

Surviving are five daughters, Josephine Church and her husband Arley of Bedford, OH, Mabel Sampson of Raleigh, NC, Elmadine Bevins and her husband Ray of Perry, OH, Nina Dawson and her husband Lanny of Millstone, and Judy Gainer and her husband Dave of Burnt House; five sons, Anes Ford of Eastlake, OH, Ronald Ford and his wife Virginia of Copley, OH, Billy Ford of Cleveland, OH, Roger Ford and his wife Helen, and Butch Ford and his wife Beverly all of Grantsville; 44 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren; five sisters, Goldie Richards, Pearl Reed and Blanche Kendall all of Grantsville, Arthelia Richards of Elizabeth and Pauline Cline of Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Ford; two sons, Terry and Avery Ford; two daughters, Dina Ford and Mazine Wilson; two sisters, Virgie Williams and Clarith Wilson; and one brother, Teddy Shimer.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 20 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Mary Zimmer will officiate. Interment will be in Gainer Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
