(05/27/2001)
Folks from our area are taking time for family gatherings, flag placing, flower decorating and memorial services.

This marker, in front of the Calhoun County courthouse bears the names of those who have served

The annual picnic by the Orma Methodist Church Cemetery has been held for years, "dinner on the ground," where dozens of West Fork families return for a homecoming

Harvey (Jack) McFee, Past Commander, American Legion Post # 55, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post # 6608, of Elizabeth, West Virginia, cares for the 48 Crosses and American Flags on the Wirt County Courthouse lawn.
