VICTIMS THROWN FROM CAR - Four Taken To Hospital

Four Calhoun residents, including one 18-year-old and three children, were injured Sunday morning before noon when their auto went out of control on State Rt. 5 near Dye's Used Cars, just east of Grantsville.

The driver and the passengers were reportedly thrown from the car.

Sources from the scene said some of the victims appeared to have some serious injuries.

Two of the victims were taken to Charleston Area Medical Center, one by HealthNet chopper and one by ambulance.

The injured were first taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center.

Calhoun EMS, MHHCC ambulance, and the Grantsville VFD responded at 11 a.m.
