(04/04/2005)
Press Release from by Detective Greg Collins-Parkersburg Police Department

The Parkersburg Police Department wants to warn the public that serious traffic pattern changes and restrictions will be in place in Parkersburg on Tuesday.

Safety will be the main factor in these changes. With the President of the United States and the West Virginia Supreme Court in Parkersburg on the same day, our operations will continue to work around the clock to make everything go smoothly.

There will be numerous students and visitors coming in to the area to observe the West Virginia Supreme Court which will be in session at the Parkersburg Municipal Building.

We want the public to be aware of any possible delays or obstructions in their plans for that day.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience and will try to keep the obstructions to a minimum.
