RITCHIE MAN FACING MURDER CHARGES

Don Lanham is standing trial in Ritchie County, accused of killing a Doddrige County man last May. Closing arguments are being heard today. Fifty-nine-year-old Don Lanham is charged with murder, burglary and malicious assault. Police say last Memorial Day weekend the Pennsboro man fatally shot Jon Broadwater of West Union at the home of a friend. The friend, Barry Moore, survived multiple shots allegedly fired by Lanham at his Pennsboro home. Moore has already taken the stand in the trial, testifying against Lanham. Lanham could face life in prison.
