Berlon Parsons, 68 - Big Bend

Berlon Parsons, 68, of Big Bend, West Virginia, passed away March 28, 2005 at his residence.

Born in Calhoun County, he was a son of the late Harrison and Aggie Parsons.

Surviving are his wife, Anna Mae Cogar Parsons; a daughter, Mary Radcliff and her husband Larry of Big Bend; one sister, Leatha Lame of Lockney; brothers, Doy Parsons and Roy Parsons both of Five Forks; two grandchildren, Deavin Blankenship and James Forrest Blankenship, II both of Big Bend, and a grandson-in-law, Tony Smith; nieces, Janice Smith, Carol Lyons, Louise Woverton, Anita McCumbers, Patsy McCumbers, LeHie Parsons, Kathy Kerby, Linda Holbert and Kathren Parsons; nephews, Richard Dowell, Donnie Dowell, James D. Parsons, William H. Parsons, Ron Allen Parsons, Doy Ray Parsons, Ricky Parsons, George Parsons, Holly Parsons, Cecil Parsons and James R. Parsons.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Kay Webster and Eula Parsons; brothers, Jim Parsons and George Parsons; and one grandson, Benjamin Lee Corrdale Blankenship.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 1 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Mike Kirby will officiate. Interment will be in the Hunt Cemetery at Big Bend.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
