Michael Edwards reads to students

Second grade students at Arnoldsburg Elementary School were very excited when Michael Edwards, former Spanish teacher at CMHS, read the story Jalapeño Bagels in Spanish.

The story is about a little boy who is trying to decide what to take for International Day at his school, from his parents' bakery.

Students were introduced to several Spanish words, as well as being read to in Spanish.

After the story, parent Lorrie Bailey, along with teachers, served the students bagels, cream cheese and pumpernickel bread, all mentioned in the story.

The students enjoyed their time with Mr. Edwards and eating the bagels.

Thank you Mr. Edwards and Lorrie Bailey for your interest in our education.
