| Doy Butler, 89, of Chloe, West Virginia, passed away March 1, 2005 at his home. Born in Calhoun County at Beech, he was a son of the late Thomas and Sally Parsons Butler. He was retired from Kidron Body Company of Kidron, Ohio. He was a Christian and was baptized at the Walnut Memorial Church at Chloe. Following retirement he enjoyed farming and the outdoors. Surviving are three sons, Teddy A. Butler of Plymouth, Ohio, Basil Butler of Chloe and Steve Butler of Apple Creek, Ohio; a brother, Dolan Butler of Monroe Falls, Ohio; 3 sisters, Chloe Alfred of Florida, Flava Fisher of of Cottageville and Floda Delaney of Boone, NC; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Bailey Butler; 3 brothers, Ora Butler, Vere Butler and Nolan Butler; a sister, Cora Alfred and his step mother, Jenny Jackson Butler. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Lester Tanner will officiate. Interment will be in the Orma United Methodist Church Cemetery.
