VALENTINE TEA HELD AT MHHCC LTC - King And Queen Chosen

The Long Term Care Unit of Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center held their annual valentine tea on February 12.

The Soul Seekers were the special singers for the event.

The facilities newly elected King and Queen for 2005 were Larry Ball and Geneva Sears. Queen Geneva is the mother of one daughter Sonja, 2 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren of whom she is extremely proud. She has worked in the public all her life. She says she enjoys her retirement and participating in activities. She loves to talk on the telephone to family and friends. She also enjoys visiting with people when they come to visit.

King Larry is a retired school teacher. He loves children and taught music for many years. He has a close relationship with his sister Joyce and her husband, his niece and her husband, his nephew, and his great niece. Larry says he also enjoys the activities on the Long term Care Unit. He also enjoys visiting with people when they come to visit.

The King and Queen will reign all year.
